Memorial Service for Former Troop 33 Eagle Scout Nicholas Freitas
We have very sad news that one of our 2013 Eagle Scouts Nicholas Freitas passed away this past Sunday evening from a fall at Ala Moana Center. Information on Memorial service, compilation of condolences and remembrances, and moment of silence is provided below:
MEMORIAL SERVICE INFORMATION:
October 20, 2016Thursday @ Sacred Hearts Church (Maryknoll Campus)
9am – 10am: Viewing
10am – 12:30 pm: Mass
Lunch to follow
Scouts and ASMs, please wear full class A uniform with neckerchief and sash.
Troop 33 would like to help support the family at the Memorial service so those who wish to assist at the Memorial service, please complete the Googledocs form by clicking on the link below or complete the form below. Request the form be completed by this Sunday, October 16.
SENDING CONDOLENCES AND REMEMBRANCES FROM TROOP 33
The Troop 33 Ohana would like to send messages of condolences and remembrances from Troop 33 scouts (past and present) to the family of Nick Freitas.
Messages can be created and sent to former Troop 33 Alumni SPL Matt Tom by this Sunday, October 16, as follows:
- On white printer paper, please write your message and sign it.
- Please scan your message as a PDF (300 DPI or above).
- Finally, please email to Matt Tom at: troop33ohana@gmail.com
- If you would like Matt to scan it for you, please bring your papers and messages to this Friday’s Troop meeting at the Hut and give them to Mrs. Tottori. She will then get them to Matt to scan.
A compilation of messages will be digitally compiled, turned into a printed card, and presented to Nick’s family at the Memorial Service.
MOMENT OF SILENCE
We will be doing a moment of silence in honor of Nick Freitas at the conclusion of this Friday’s troop meeting.
