KEALIA BACKPACKING CAMP – JANUARY 4-5, 2020

Kealia backpacking camp is coming up! What a wonderful way to start the new year! This year, the hike will start at Dillingham Airfield.  

1.    To help carpool, we will meet at the Scout Hut at 7 am. We will then drive to Dillingham Airfield (about an hour) and park in the back parking lot. For those who will be going directly to the trail head, we will plan to start hiking at 9 am. 

2.    For those who will be parking overnight, we are working on permission and access. Stay tuned as we may need to ask for personal and vehicle info.

3.    Day hikers are welcome. Please specify this on the sign up.

4.    For interested adults, we did a potluck hot pot for dinner last year. It was quite delicious and would really be a great way to warm up if it gets cold. Once we have a better sense of who is going, we will make a sign up for food items to bring for the hot pot. If you are interested in going, please sign up at the Hut or contact Dr. Wong or Dr. Ng, ASM coordinators. We are looking forward to a great camp!
