Summer Camp Form Deadline -April 28

This year’s Summer Camp at Pupukea will be held from Sunday, July 23 – Saturday, July 29. The deadline to turn in your selections for merit badge classes will be April 28. Summer camp merit badge information was passed out previously at troop meetings.  You can get a registration form with course information on it from Mr. Silva at the April 21 meeting and turn it in to him, as well. 

For the newer, younger scouts, Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity to get a head start on achieving higher ranks or earning a lot of badges in a very short period of time and to have some fun, too. For the older scouts who’ve taken most of the merit badge classes, it’s an opportunity to experience another side of camp, where you can help guide the younger scouts and take some merit badge classes just for fun without the pressure of taking on the Eagle Required badge classes. Scouting isn’t just about getting badges, it’s about giving back and guiding those who come after you with the knowledge that you’ve received from older scouts and adult leaders. We hope to see a lot of new scouts as well as more experienced boys at this year’s camp.
